It appears that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Nintendo Switch port of Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U, will feature a total of five different options for Battle Mode.
Nintendo had already previously confirmed that Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast will be in the game, but a new image has surfaced from Nintendo of Poland, which seems to point to three other modes. These others modes appear to include Coin Runners, Shine Thief (or possibly Shine Runners), and a mode involving a Piranha Plant.
But that’s not all. The media has also revealed that amiibo characters will be able to unlock special outfits for characters within the game, as pictured above. Depending on which amiibo you can (the game supports a good amount of them, it looks like), you can deck your custom driver out in a spiffy new outfit.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 28th.
